I play a few of them from time to time when I feel bored. My computer can't play high-graphic games like WoW and anything along those lines. What are you guys playing?

RuneScape killed a lot of my time, till I got bored
MapleStory got boring fast even though I hacked on it.

MapleStory - Too much time on that, wish I never started.
WoW Trial - 4 days, I was bored. ALSO LOL WOW IS SUPER HIGH GRAPHICS? Cracka please, I played through a streaming client on a Compaq Presario f730us and got very little lag.
RO - Great, but too confusing and a crappy chat system. Didn't play too much of it.

Played MapleStory for a little bit, got sick of it quickly.

Does Diablo 2 count as a MMORPG?

I'm playing Warhammer Online at the moment. I have played Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, and EVE Online before too.

whoever said WoW had good graphics? its pretty shitty compared to other mmorpgs, but supposedly is one of the funnest. anywayz

i tried both WoW and Guildwars and stopped playing them after a short while. they just got to boring and time consuming. it's all about starcraft! 10 min game, bam ur done. not hours and hours of fuckin grinding.

EDIT: hey gaisuto! ur back to being a global mod now?

My first MMO was Fantasy Star Online, on Dreamcast. I made a Japanese friend there, and visited japan next year ^^
    Next was Ragnarok Online.
    That's all.

RO was too time consuming, 3 years playing only that, I finally got bored.
Now I prefer playing online games with friends like Mario kard DS instead of real MMO.

Edit : ah, yes, Silkroad too, something like 1 month.

The only MMORPG I've played is Silkroad Online.
It's free, and it's the best free one out there.
I was addicted to it for a week or so, then I was bored with it [IMG]
But a friend of mine, who started in the same period as me with Silkroad Online is now (after 3 years!) still addicted to it.

    Seoul.. (in Korea)
    I started with RO...
until I became a rag fag and I quit.
(2 years... lol until the korean version became pay 2 play)
and then I moved to dekaron, which I quickly quit after I figured out leveling up was TOO fast, and then granado espada. That was nice but took a little too much on my C drive...
and then I moved on to Cabal Online when it became free, and I trained my force shielder to 62 and quit.
Right now, I'm addicted to dungeon and fighter (dood I invested more than 600,000 won in it...about 600 $$ for cash items... lol)
and I'm soon thinking of playing mabinogi heroes (???) as soon as it comes out. Look at this: (don't press skip)

Phantasy Star Online Ep 1 for the dreamcast. Ran up some phone bills (dial up remember) and decided never again.

That is my MMO history. I play online games (had a thing for Savage: Battle for Newerth these last few weeks) still but no more MMORPGs, I got my little brother a copy of world of warcraft and got him set up a free server the other day but did not succumb there either.

PSO is the only MMO I've ever honestly enjoyed, not that it really falls under true mmo with each area only supporting 4 players...

Nothing comes close to the fun I got grinding the same 4 areas with slight enemy changes each time.

Runescape (60% of my life there, I hate it now though lol)
    Flyff (Ehh, not too great)
    Tales of pirates (Disgustingly awful)
Dream of mirror (Never got too into it)
    Archlord (When it turned free)

And now i play perfect world,I like it way more then the other 2 month mmorpgs.

Notice i only play the free ones lol [IMG]

    hmm....

wasted far too much of my life playing runescape when i was like 12 (19 now....)
played Graal kingdoms for a good while, it was a fun game, good community etc.
used to play planetside a lot, had to be the best MMO ever until sony screwed it up.
dabbled in second life a little, got bored of it, same with EVE

still yet to find another MMO as good as graal or planetside were in their hayday. so many these days are just WoW or runescape clone grindfests

Behind you! I know you looked!
Ever since Guild Wars, Maple Story, Silk Road and RuneScape, I've vowed never to touch an MMO again...
Until The Agency comes out, because that actually looks like it could be really good.

I've found with all MMOs that they're just endless, mindless grinding dressed up to look fancy.

Lets see what did I play but stopped...
    Ragnarok Online
    Ragnarok Online 2
    R.O.S.E
    Flyff
    Cabal Online
    WoW
    Perfect World
    Mabinogi
    FFXI
And there are others that I stopped but I don't remember

The one that I still play when I get free time is Guild Wars. I've got all the expansions plus I have 2 accounts in total. So I've invested a lot of time in that game.

    Hm...I've played
-MapleStory: After like a month of playing in GMS, I realized I wasn't going to put up with the shit rates. It took me a month to get to Lv34 legitly, which is bullshit. So after that, I started hacking. Then hacking got patched, and I didn't want to wait for the new hacks to be released, so I waited about half a year until private servers came out. I still play private servers now and again, but only like...once a month or so.
-WoW: Started on a private server... it was fun for a while. Then I moved back to Ragnarok Online, because all my friends quit and it got boring by myself. Plus, my grpahic card sucks ass, and I was always at like 12 fps... not fun.
-Ragnarok: To me, the best MMO ever. I spent like 2 years in Ragnarok private servers, hopping from one to another. After a while, my best friend quit, and my other best friend's computer broke, so once again, I was left all alone and eventually quit. I tried going back to it, but it's just not as fun as it used to be.
