I would add taiko no tatsujin (drumming game from namco) and kazuo (or Go sudoku in the US). For some reason the psp sudoku (not the new one released with Carol Vorderman, haven't tried this one) is very relaxing with the music it provides.

Yea it's good news that taiko no tatsujin 2 is comin out.....but keep in mind with the drum controllers it defeats the to go factor of the psp.

Those are really the only ESSENTIALS. I'm not including the games that I personally enjoy, but generally the ones I think should be essential.

it's out in japan, isn't it?
just like in Lumines, most text is in english anyway

the only bad thing about the game is that's it's so short...it could easily have twice as many stages...
I still have to unlock both 'secret' stages though...
