Hi all,

I have a first-gen NSW which I have recently dusted off, it has remained on Firmware 4.1.0.

I installed CFW following the guide at switch.homebrew.guide all the way through to setting up the emuMMC and did not have any issues, onto a 400GB genuine Sandisk SD card formatted for FAT32 (by guiformat). Also setup the 90DNS to block updates.

So both the system firmware and emulated firmware are now on 4.1.0. The plan was to then update emu to 13, and retain all my fuses.

However when I load into the emuMMC and open the homebrew launcher via game+r, I encounter the following error when trying to open everything I have tried so far: Golfleaf, Daybreak, mGBA, Breeze etc:

Error Code: 2003-0004 (0x803)

The switchbrew website suggests that the error code in the brackets 0x803 is for 'OS busy'.

And for the code 2003-0004, the only thing I have really found so far is the github page from switchbrew suggesting that it could be related to firmwares lower than 5.

I get the same error in sysmmc and emummc, so I cannot update the firmware via Daybreak, nor install any homebrew! I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary, so the low firmware version seems like the most likey cause of the issue?

Should I even care about the fuses and the ability to downgrade in future? If not, what would be the best way for me to upgrade either the system firmware and then the emu firmware, or just the emu firmware? Should I just disable 90DNS and do it via the internet? Obtain a game catridge with a later firmware?

Any advice is much appreciated!
