Gaming Error 268442-0100

Hello guys

my friend got this error

The funny thing is according to him that he got this error after some wounder trade at pokemon moon.
Also his 3ds got no CFW so he cant hack either and his game is also legal/bought. So i tried to google this error up but find nothing about it. If anyone got this error or knows anything about it please tell me the reason for this error since even nintendo support site shows any information about this error. Oh yeah one more thing to add up he can use GTS but no wounder trade dunno if it that relevant to this error.

I've done some Wonder trades just after that and everything worked perfect for me, I don't think he tried, I'll ask later.

I think this is soft ban in Pokemon sun moon.
It happened if you quit a match or when trading the connection lost or weak signal.
if any of that happened,you get soft ban for 24-72 hours.

I got the same error but for me it happened the first time i tried to wonder trade and now i tried to do battle spots and its the same error and its been going on for 6 days and even nintendo support doesnt k ow anything. What should i do? Now that i finished the gamei wanted to do o nline battles but i cannt do anything

It's effectively Nintendo/Game Freak punishing people with unreliable internet. Go figure.

You're actually shitting me, they're banning people because they disconnected? Oh my, i guess i can't even try su-mo online because of it. Internet is seriously unreliable in my country, no matter your ISP, it sucks balls.

But my internet is not unteliable and i never disconnected because it happened in my first try of wondertrade
I really hope they dont ban because i jsut bought my n3dsxl last wdnesday and its benn happening since then

I tried to play with hosting network from my mobile data and it works that way but i dont know whats the problem with the home wifi guess i will use my mobile data to play

my friend also got that error when trying to trade test something on the wonder trade,she checked and it got a move that it's supposed to learn as an egg, but it's a generated one , she edited it again and this time it works on the wonder trade....btw when that error come she tested on the gts with other legit pokemon and it work..so maybe it's just your pokemon lol, if you got ban from trading , you will get a message notifying you of the ban..

my friend tested it both on wonder trade, 1 with the illegal move without being an egg, another with that move and she edited the stats to be"was an egg"...the illegal one got that error code, while the egg one doesn't ...so don't that error is a softban for getting dc whether that dc is intentional or not

You'd think that Pokémon with illegal moves/abilities/whatever would be blocked before the Wonder Trade itself could even take place. Seems strange that the error/hack check wouldn't block the trade but would result in an error.

what ban are you talking about, cause after the error comes up, she edited again the pokemon to make it legit, she can trade it just fine
