Hacking English Menus on Japanese 3DS

Hi, I just purchased a Japanese 3DS (the original). I was wondering if there is a way to get my menu in English. On my American version there is a language option in the system settings and I knew there wasn't one in the Japanese. But I was wondering if anyone has found a way? I don't want to loose access to my Japanese eShop at all.

You cant. If you install another region CIA (like the american ones),you must change the secureinfo_A,for another from a never conected to Internet console for using online services. And modifying japan CIA will be a epic fail because the system CIAs must be signed by Nintendo.

Not that I know about. In any case, without hacking the Japanese DSi or 3DS defaults some games to load only Japanese text.

no...... only region swap is able to do that, but it's not highly recommended
