Hacking 'Enable Compress' Option does not work (SCL)

Hi there!

When I use my SuperCard Lite Software to patch games I'm not able to select the 'Enable Compress' option - it's simply grey and unselectable.
My Micro SD is almost full so it would be cool if that worked out somehow.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with it?

maybe its a feature that the patcher can handle but thier isnt supercard firmware that supports it yet?

Maybe it only works on GBA games.

Yep, it's only a feature for GBA games.

FEATURE IS FOR GBA ONLY!! ANd the reason why it is greyed out is because in later firmwares, the feature didn't work properly. So until they get the issue sorted out, they just deactivated it.

I tried the newest Version (2.56) with both DS an GBA games - doesn't work.

I can still use the 'Trim ROM' option, though, or does it have any negative effects on the game?

Kind of strange you can only compress GBA games since they are not that big in size compared to DS ROMs after all.
