Hacking Emunand to Emunand?(From OG to N3DS)

So I know I have to update both emunands to 9.5 but my og uses a 64gb and my n3ds is using the default 4gb. Kinda of confused on what to do

Probably a system transfer

To OP, if that's the case, and what you have in the OG3DS won't fit in the N3DS, copy the contents of the N3DS onto a bigger memory card, including emunand by a workaround (mentioned here). Then proceed with the system transfer.
