Hacking EmuNAND on new SD Card Question

I read on another guide how to transfer emuNAND from 1 card to another. Someone said I don't need the EmuNAND tool. I backed up emuNAND, formatted a new emuNAND through GW launcher, and then booted into GW mode. On System Settings, FW says GW3D 4.2.0-9U. Do I go ahead and update it? How do I proceed? Thoughts appreciated

My emunand is currently on a 4GB card. I want it to be put on 64GB card since that is where my 3DS games are backed up to through GW.

Of course, I actually did it today since I switched from 8GB to 32GBs.

Here's what you'll need to do:

. Copy all the contents from your 4GB SD to PC.
. Make a backup with emunand tool of the emuNAND present in 4GB SD and copy it to PC.
. Grab the 64GB SD and insert it in the 3DS.
. Do not have the Gateway card on your 3DS, you don't need it.
. Run the format emuNAND option in Gateway so you will create emuNAND on 64GB SD.
. Hold power button for a long time until it's completely shut down. Seriously, do it. Do not go to HOME screen.
. Take out the 64GB SD, plug it back in PC.
. Inject the emuNAND you backed up earlier and copy all the contents you had before on 4GB SD to the new 64GB SD.
. Enjoy!

Done, follow the steps clearly and there'll be no problem at all.
You actually do need the emunand tool. I can explain why but I won't bother for now, just do it that way and it'll work fine without a single problem.

I updated successfully, but when I press select in GW mode to load my games, it says Filesystem Error on bottom of Gray Gateway window on top screen. Is there a fix for this?

Where are you're games saved? Is your gw in the console?

Small-SD to Big-SD (Win32DiskImager method)
1) Make Small-SD's image with Win32DiskImager.
2) Write image to Big-SD with Win32DiskImager.
3) Fix Big-SD's partition size with DiskGenius.

Big-SD to Small-SD (emuNANDtool method)
1) Copy Big-SD files to PC.
2) Extract Big-SD's emuNAND with emuNANDtool.
3) Format Small-SD's emuNAND with GW Launcher.
4) Inject extracted emuNAND to Small-SD with emuNANDtool.
5) Copy files from PC to Small-SD.

I prefer Win32DiskImager method.

Do you have a microSD on Gateway? Is it FAT32 or exFAT? Where are the ROMs located? (the .3ds files).
