Hacking Emunand on N3DS XL/LL without gateway?

I've just did the OOT exploit to run gateways menu on my N3DSXL with the edited .sav file. And it worked flawlessly. I managed to dump a few of my own games to get their headers for future use.

My question is with us being able to run the Gateway menu without the card is there any way to install emunand without owning a gateway chip. I own a sky3ds at the moment. I've seen the post about being on FW4.5 or lower you can do it. I'm just curious.

Sorry if this was a stupid post. Just curious as to what Else I can do with this gateway menu exploit.

(I plan on getting a GW very soon)

My N3DSXL is on FW9.0 btw.

Hi, without the red card you can format EmuNAND and dump your NAND, that's it for now.

You can format EmuNAND but you can not boot it without the GW card.
