Is there any way to do this? Im asking because i want to know if it is possible to utilize Pokemon Diamond/Pearl's migrate function with FR/LG/E. Im currently using No$GBA with a BIOS and Firmware and also have No$Zoomer, but havent been able to figure out a way to make this work.

DeSmuMe is capable of doing this. you can load a gba save file into DeSmuME and then proceed as normal within the game. Do note that you have to import your no$gba save file from pokémon DPP first to maintain your progress in the game first, because DeSmuME uses a different save format.

here's a guide in case you can't find your save file, or if you can't get your save to work

Converting a No$gba save file to a DeSmuME save file
1. Go to File -> Import Backup Memory
2. Look for your No$gba .sav file, which is inside the BATTERY folder. Select it.
3. Load your in-game save as per normal. You should be able to do it now!

If that does not work, try this:

4. Go to NO$GBA.ini. Change "SAV/SNA File Format == Compressed" or "SAV/SNA File Format == Uncompressed" to "SAV/SNA File Format == RAW". Save your changes.
5. Go to No$gba, run your ROM, save your game using the in-game save as per normal.
6. Go to DeSmuME, open your ROM using File -> Open ROM.
7. Repeat Steps 1-3.

If that still doesn't work:

8. Go back to NO$GBA.ini, change "SAV/SNA File Format" back to "Compressed" or "Uncompressed", whichever it was before.
9. Repeat step 5.
10. Go to the Shunyweb Savegame Converter.
11. Under 'Savegame to Convert', select your No$gba savegame (.sav file insde the BATTERY folder).
12. Under 'Source format', select "No$gba .sav" (of course).
13. Under 'Target format', select "Acekard RPG | EZ Flash V | RAW Format (Autodection) [.sav]"
14. Download the new .sav file from Shunyweb. Remember its location.
15. Repeat Steps #1-3, but instead of selecting the No$gba sav in step 2, select the sav file you just downloaded from Shunyweb.

Little note: although DeSmuME is a superior emulator compared to no$gba it will run a lot slower on older computers, keep this in mind while playing.

You don't have to use import backup memory.
As long as a raw .sav file is in the correct directory, DeSmuME will load it properly.

Not entirely true. In older versions of DeSmeME, you could just leave saves in the same directory as the roms, but since 0.9.6, they are stored in a separate folder of DeSmuME, also the way save files are handled is different since that version. Therefore, the best way to use old save files is to import them, so you have a fail-proof solution to maintaining your old saves. And there's the fact tha DeSmuME uses *.dsv files instead of *.sav, so there is no way it could work with DeSmuME without converting it first because DeSmuME won't recognize *.sav files as DS saves.

You can read up on it here: http://wiki.desmume.org/index.php?title=Fa..._and_Savestates
