I have the snes9x and fceugx emulators working on the wii. Whenever I play any games on either of these, there is a split second delay from when I push the button to when it happens on the screen. I have a plasma 50' tv and I'm using component cables with the wii set at 480p. Does anyone else have this problem?

I figure it might have something to do with upscaling on the tv end, but I'm not sure. Weird thing is I've played wiiware games like super mario world and there is no lag. When I use the emulator there is. Anyone have ideas?

could be the emulator.

could be the tv.

5 bucks says the emulator if it doesn't happen with wiiware/vc.

Emulator isn't perfect (no emulator is....well...maybe that bsnes one that guy's doing that's rebuilding the snes from the ground up with no hacks but that's not usable on the wii...or most non dual core computers).

Very likely it's your TV. Look for a game mode option in the tv settings. If there isn't try to turn off any features that adds additional image processing. You might be able to compare the sound with the video if you pay attention also.
