Embed GBA rom into emulator

    Is is possible to somehow embed a GBA rom into the VBAGX .dol file?

    I'm not sure, but if you were thinking of making a GBA VC game channel, you could edit the source and make VBAGX autoload a certain ROM on your SD Card.

    funny because I wanted to create the exact same topic...... instead of using emulators.... we could create VC GBA games...... not sure how we could actually save ? [​IMG]

    So has anyone been able to find out exactly how to make the VBAGX autoload a single ROM? I think this would be a pretty cool thing to have out there.

    we did having something in the making for 0C release, but the final product never eventuated sorry to say. It stalled at the beta stage.

    oh, and yes they were wads not forwarder channels [​IMG]

    stev418, do you by any chance have a copy of the wad depicted in the video?

    And about the above mentioned source, maybe one could create a wad if they told the app to load the rom from the NAND (isfs), and then load/save the user's progress in NAND too, with a savefile banner, and to also load/ save the settings.xml in the same place.
