ROM Hack Elder scrolls for DS?

Im just wondering, since people have been talking about elder scrolls for ds (in other forums if not been a topic in here... :/ ) , like the first or maybe even the second game of the serie could be ported for the DS. Orcs and Elves was too short for me ^^

Could it? or is the game/games to much for the poor 'ol NDS?

You need the source of a game to port it, and AFAIK, none of the games sources are available.

One of the Might and Magic games could be emulated I guess (the first 3 appeared on either the c64, PCE, genesis, nes and SNES). If not there are a bunch of (net)hack ports and clones.

Well, It wouldn't be nearly the same process, but Myst has been commercially ported, so it's a step in the right direction
