ROM Hack Editing Gen 3 pokemon VC injects

Hi all, I was just having an issue with something and I hope that there is a good fix for it. Now I have installed a VC inject of pokemon fire red on my 3ds, and I was wanting to gen stuff into it. However, I can't export it with JKSM (gives me an error "error opening save archive"). I found a way to extract the save with decrypt9 but pkhex and a-save don't recognise it - it is only 64kb save rather then 128kb.

Is there a way to fix this, like is there a way to convert the save to 128kb? Or do I need to rebuild the cia with different settings to make it save as 128kb? Or is it impossible to fix...?

There is a method to enable saves and to avoid data loss after beating elite 4. Try to use it (you can download a patched fire red via vc in those warez sites)
