hi.

i bought a genesis game on eBay , but the seller send me this message:

''Dear jordan.pp,

How did you calculate the shipping cost? I cannot come up with that amount for the shipment?

- chil2008''

i still didnt get an answer , but id like to know , if the shipping is more than the price on the pic , who have to pay

EDIT: i bought another genesis game , shipping to canada was 3$ (in the descripton) so i guess the otehr seller can ship it with the 4.56$ , no?

The seller either sets the shipping cost or allows eBay to calculate it automatically, and is required to ship the item for the amount indicated. This is why I'd never let eBay calculate the shipping for me.

I'm not sure how binding that really is, eBay's rules are rather nebulous. I can't find anything relevant to this right now without spending a long time looking through their site.

I do know from personal experience that you can send small items from the US to Canada via USPS for that much. I mailed a set of earphones to someone and it was less than $3 for shipping. A Genesis game with its box would probably be a bit more expensive, but that should still cover it.

Also, it's the weekend. At least give the guy through Monday to respond.
