Rumor has it they'll start taking pre-orders in mid-October. I for one hope they don't cut it too close to the line, as I don't want to end up with a pre-ordered Zelda: TP Wii... and no console to play it on.

they arent taking any orders because none of the ebgames know how many consoles they will have in stock come launch time. EB games made a big mistake with the 360, when so many ppl pre-ordered it and by the time the console was launched, they figured that their inventory was little and left people who pre-ordered waiting for a 360 till like January after christmas etc.

Ive asked them many times too and get the same answer.
hah i guess im gonna have to camp and skip school on the 17th and miss chuch sunday.

At least you have stores. Try getting much of anything in Dunlap, Indiana...population 5,887. I have to drive a minimum of 15 minutes to even see a single store of any kind and by then I'm already in a different city.
