This post is very me me me orientated... sorry! But I'd really really appreciate some help!

Basically, I have a TINY attention span and have never completed a game in my life =-o
I have about 30 games on my DS and just can never decide which to play and other than tetris I never really play them for very long.

In trauma center I got up to the part where you have to complete many operations in a row (couldn't pass it so gave up). In Phoenix Wright I got up to proving the actor guy was innocent then gave up because that case was just so tedious (I gave up after finishing that case!). In the new Zelda thing I played for maybe 15 minutes, died, and gave up.

Now I'm looking for a game that has real... staying power I guess. Something that is fun to stick with till the end. I know that given my track record its unlikely there such a game for me... but can anyone recommend anything? I plan to cut down my DS to just a few games... such as just Tetris possibly brain training and then which ever game I decide to really "get into" and actually finish.

Cheers for reading and thanks for any suggestions in advance =)

Gambia, The
Tried Elite Beat Agents, yet? The game you are looking for probably doesn't exist, though...

I have the same issue with my attention span and often never complete games. However, I just recently flew through the new Kirby game "Kirby: Squeak Squad". It was relatively easy and kept me glued to it because of that. I enjoyed it! And you might too!

Good luck! I know the how it is to have that burden, you want to play a game to the end but you can't seem to stick with it!

EDIT: By the way, is your signature a refrence to the Travis song "Why does it always rain on me?" ? Just curious.

I'm kind of similar. Too lazy to look at the guide for Metroid. Beat Mario Kart, but over a long period of time. Kirby Canvas Curse was boring for me after I beat it with Kirby. The only game other than Mario Kart that I beat for DS was Naruto RPG3 simply because as a Naruto fan I couldn't wait to get new characters. But if you aren't a Naruto fan, an easy but solid RPG would be the best bet.

I'd suggest at least something like tetris or zoo keeper. Once you master the extremely simple skills required to play they both rock!

Or Metroid prime pinball - every knows how to play pinball your half way there!

Peace

Or try pong - can't get much simplier than that

the problem here is simpler than you know it, and that's with the 30 games on your cart that you don't know what to play etc. No matter how great the game, if you have a plethora of them.....call it either confusion or being spoiled, but you just won't appreciate the game for what it is just because you got so many choices. I suggest just finding a handful of games you actually have interest on and put those on your cart and play, just sit down and play. That or put away the flashcart for awhile and buy a game and play it. It will teach you some appreciation that may go longer ways in your enjoyment of games.

tama_mog, I believe you are right... far far too much choice. I think when you buy a game, you're more determined to get the most out of it, so you will stick by it more. Saying that the games I did buy like Animal Crossing and MKDS I never really got into that much.

Now I have on my card...
Tony Hawk American Skateland (Boyfriends)
Lost in Blue (One game I have half got into but its gets frustrating when you start needing to sort out the ruins... i keep letting her die and getting confused from starting that day again)
Sega Casino (Good for a quick game of texas hold 'em)
Fifa (Boyfriends)
42 All time classics (clubhouse games) (Boyfriends)
Nintendogs (hardly play but cant bear to see my dog coco go!)
Yoshi Island (have completed maybe 4 stages but does seem like a good game)
Tetris

I'm now going to put Elite beat agents on and play it =)

Thanks again for all the help guys/girls.

One you might try if your into driving games is Asphalt GT 2. It is a really easy game and you can complete a full tornament in the evolution mode in about 5-10 minutes (4 races), and its easy to win. I have been working through the millions of tournaments, whenever I get a spare 10 minutes.

Its pretty good
