I remember experiencing a softlock while I was moving items between my party members.

Of course, it had to happen while I couldn't find a save file -.-

While I was fooling around with some of the dialogue, something happened to the dialogue for when you open presents and items would go to random party members, even if they weren't in your party. When I tried to get the Cracked Bat from Tracy's room, it went to the Super Plush Bear, and when I opened some other present on the way to where the meteor landed, it went to Tony.

I mean, I was swapping stuff, a null item was swapped, and I was then stuck in a alphabetical dialogue loop. lol
