An early English localization prototype for the first Final Fantasy title has been discovered.
This is an early translation pass, that is less elegant than the final product, with a number of enemy and item differences on top.​

I await a breakdown of the differences between this and final. Granted I will have to go play it a bit though as I more or less skipped this one and went straight in with 2.

if there is a way to get the 3ds version of final fantasy 1 on 3ds translated then that would be good
