EA and Marvel Games announce deal for three games, starting with an Iron Man title

EA has announced a new long-term deal with Marvel Games to develop "at least three new action adventure games" for consoles and PC.

The first game will be a single-player, third-person Iron Man game, coming from Motive Studio, developer of Star Wars: Squadrons and the upcoming Dead Space remake. The team is being led by Olivier Proulx, who served as a senior producer on Square Enix's Guardians of the Galaxy game from last year. It is expected to have an original story that makes use of the history of the Iron Man character, rather than being based off of a pre-existing comic storyline. It is still in pre-production, so it's unlikely we'll see any news for some time.

As of now, we are lacking any details on the other games in this deal, such as what characters they will feature, who will be developing them or if they are being worked on at the same time as Iron Man.

If they do this right, they could easily come up with a game on par with Spider-Man.

Especially if Tony has his entire armor collection available at some point. At the very least, Hulkbuster and the Endo-Sym armor. I'd play it just for those.
