Interesting that they fixed 1 square height jumping. I like Starbound's approach to the problem - you just run and you automatically climb up 1 square steps. There's no jumping involved.
1.2 has that mechanic as well, treating one-block inclines as a slope of sorts.

I don't get why iOS is getting it quicker. The Android market is wider for gamers, and developing for Android is cheaper. The Dev kits are free and I believe it's $20 to get an app on the market. It costs something like $100 dollars for the iOS SDK.

If you've ever coded anything for Android, you know how big of a pain in the ass it is. There are many different variations of android devices, some even with hardware-specific configurations. (Looking at you, Xperia). Coding for iOS is much, much more streamlined.
