Hacking E3 flasher the only option?

So, i want to hack my PS3, but don't want to spend $100+ on an E3 flasher, is there another solderless option that i can use?

It's a first gen PS3 fat from 2006. i'm sure there are plenty of methods. i hope

there are no modders in my city that i know of, and this thing would be too heavy/expensive to ship

apparently i also have a NAND and not a NOR, so an e3 flasher would be useless. after doing research

Yep absolutely right. Then you need an teensy or a progskeet. Teensy isn't that expensive! Around 30 Euros over here in.the bay. Where are you from?

canada, the icon under my name shows that. and i would need solderless teensy or progskeet. because i don't have soldering skills. or a soldering iron.. or solder
