But if you pick the thief or the ninja class, you get lockpicks anyway. Not to mention you could just pick any class and use a gnome race, but gnomes probably still suck pretty bad. /mud nerd

If you're caught trying to pick the lock of a safe, I don't think the lockpicks will be the worst thing you'll have to worry about.

In some states prolly, but when do they ever come check your possessions?

I know that in the UK they are legal, but if you get caught with one and don't have a good reason you could be charged with "going equipped" or something like that.
