Gaming DVDburner doesn't recognize DL disc?

It's an HP DVD 840y it has the DVD+R DL logo on the fron of it but I got some Fujifil, DVD+R DL disc and when I put the disc in, IMGburn tries to read but gives me a no media presant message.

Any idea whats wrong?

I had the same problem before but i realized I didn't have the right drive selected. Make sure the burner drive is selected in IMGBURN. If it is..then maybe someone else can help you with the problem. Good luck

Thought of that. That's not the problem.

Do you think just changing the media brand would help?

Try to update the burner firmware
