soo.... is possible to run DVDS on Wii with new drives? is there any app from homebrew that lets you play it???

As I understand that, the newer Wii drives are unable to understand the logical encoding of standard DVDs. As the drive itself can't decode the data there is nothing an app running on the main system could do.
