Hardware DVD-RW

I did some seraching around, but found nothing really on this topic. Plus search doesn't work with just RW and DVD-RW did pretty much nothing. But in either case, here is my question.

Has anyone here used DVD-RW to do some testing with the WiiKey. I am going to test some GC and Wii Games real quick and I want to make sure I am using the proper media. Would a store brought (Best Buy, Circuit City, Staples) Maxell DVD-RW be fine?

Supports DVD-R / true DVD+R and +RW support (no bitsetting required!)

According to the Wiikey specs it only supports +RW, but not -RW.
