Hacking DVD+R

Well I'm not sure where to post this so here I go.....
My Dad has tons of TDK DVD+R discs and I was wondering if it will work for Gamecube Backups
I really want my Mario Kart and Melee back since there scratched like heck and Soul Calibur well fell while being read and has this crazy loops.

They should work
If you know how to change the booktype to DVD-ROM

You can burn multiple GC games on one disc btw.
