I recently jumped on the wiiMC bandwagon after using mplayer CE w/dvdx for a long time

I installed ios 202 and ever since then dvd playback via the libdvdnav option has been unwatchable (in the menu playback is really fast then stops all together)

I have a wiikey 1 modchip (if that matters) and dvd playback was perfect via dvdx until i installed ios 202

    any ideas?

doesn't work for me either... on any version of WiiMC...
I have tried every IOS combination with versions 4, 5, and 5.1 of hermes... also tried the installer at the official site... nothing works...
I tried with store bought dvds and copied dvds (no protection)
if anyone has any helpful info, it would be appreciated.

    yup.. same in mplayerce...

so before I sit around for hours trying to get it to work... were you able to restore dvd playback? if so, then how?

My first guess would be to uninstall IOS202? and then reinstall DVDX.. then attempt to play in NEWEST? version of mplayerCE...

would that work? I don't use the DVD functionality in any emulators.. so I assume I don't need IOS202 anyway?
