Hi Ladies and gents,

I recently bought an un-modded corona v2 xbox 360.
I've read a lot of post and tuts over the net and I came up with some questions for which I'm not quite sure of the answer.

* I've already bought an Xecuter CR4 XL, Xecuter SD nand dumper, and the recommanded QB for the corona.

- The HDD limitation (hddhacker and WD drive) is only valid for console without RGH/RGH2/JTAG..?
- Is there any reason why I should stick with WD drive?
- Would it worth it to use an 7200rpm/ssd VS 5400rpm drive?

- I read somewhere that I could load the freestyle dash and use a pluggin to load my game over the network.
- I already have a server running samba, that woud be a decent alternative for me. Anyone knows if the
loading speed is decent?
- Any concern over this?

- To load backuped games, I need to flash my DVD drive, a lot of people do recommend getting the Xecuter board LTU2 for Liteon DG-16D5S
- I can't find that board to sale, the only place I could find it is on aliexpress (which are clones by the way...)
- Anyone know where I could find official Xecuter LTU2 board.
- Anyone tried clones of that board? I'm kinda scare to buy a cheap clone that will at the end breaks my xbox...
- Is there any good alternative to the Xecuter board?

- If I want to load game from my internal hdd I've read that I need to use iso2god.
- I still need to patch my game, but other than that, is there anything else that I need to know?

Thanks for your inputs

Just get any sized 2.5 inch HDD.
I wouldn't recommend an SSD as the speed gain is marginal at best.
Not to mention it's costly.

I personally prefer everything internally.
Haven't messed with SMB sharing but it's doable.

No you don't.
You can completely leave out the DVD drive if you'd like.
DVD drive isn't needed on a RGH as you can copy games straight to the internal HDD.

Nope, no patching needed.
I prefer gamerip extracts over GOD games.
Mainly cause the old xbox handled it that way and it's easier to modify games if you'd ever want it.

Will I still be able to buy and download DLC for my games?
If you are talking about connecting your console to Xbox Live, you won't be able to do that with an RGH system (it will get banned). You can install a DemoN if you really want to do that (dual boot Live/RGH), but do some research first.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Not much you can do with it now, other than play older games made around that timeframe and doing usual work.

But that covers literally everything. Things we use in our lives is made in China or other countries that have a huge tech population.

Tbh I'd rather watch a UK repair show they always get good deals like broken switch's for 60 and fix them for next to nothing
  • Skelletonike @ Skelletonike:
Europe was slow to get into electric vehicles, so instead of making it cheaper to buy local ones, they'd rather tax the cheap china ones.
