Misc Dungeon Explorer Wifi not working on R4?

I'm trying to get a few more friends to buy this to co-op play but it hasn't appeared locally here in stores yet. Are you guys running the game on your flashcards? I can't seem to connect to Nintendo Wifi with my R4. It tells me there was an error connecting.

I keep gettting "unable to connect to Nintendo wi-fi ..... error 20109"

My wi-fi does work, I've tried with Mario Kart and DSorganize web browser. Is this an issue with games and flashcards as I was not aware of it before. Advance Wars Days of Ruin seems to give me the same problem as well.

WIFI runs fine for me off of my R4 using English firmware 1.15. I have connected to the Nintendo WIFI network and played against co-op with other players many times.
