Hacking Dungeon Explorer Wifi not working on R4?

-EDIT SORRY, I realize this should have been in the Wifi tech support page, I've started the thread there.

I'm trying to get a few more friends to buy this to co-op play but it hasn't appeared locally here in stores yet. Are you guys running the game on your flashcards? I can't seem to connect to Nintendo Wifi with my R4. It tells me there was an error connecting.

Did you trim your ROM? If so, you used a crap trimmer that truncated the WiFi data. Use NDSTokyoTrim.

Possibly your wireless is not set up properly.....do other WiFi games work?

Are you running the latest firmware loader on your R4? The latest is version 1.16:

Maybe you have a bad ROM, try to re-download it.


Wifi play works fine on my R4 with Dungeon Explorer.

This is a brand new DS bought a few days ago, I'm worried that the hardware might have been changed or something.

I am indeed using 1.16 and and did use NDSTokyoTrim. I even tried the untrimmed rom. My Wi-Fi has been tested with Mario Kart and DSOrganise, but it won't work with newer games like Days of Ruin and Dungeon Explorer, I wonder if Nintendo did something to the hardware?!

Nope. It could be your connection. I'm running on a v6 DSLite, and it works fine.
