Not quite... for fans of the show, this online branch concept is a pretty big deal. It's looking like a lot of the free content (deleted scenes, etc.) for the show is going to be funneled through these communities as opposed to the generic NBC website, and the show will make references to the branches as the whole concept progresses. If you aren't interested, no problem... but if you like this stuff, you'll want to get attached to a branch so you can have access to the goods.
