Hacking dumping wii games

i have a question about dumping my wii gales on my PC and then burn it
but they say yuo need the Lg GDR 8164B dvd-rom but then again, is this a burner aswel? and why does it cost on consolesource.com 70 euros and on 4 launch only 19 euros??

it's only a reader, not a burner. As for the price, I don't know why it's so expensive, I bought mine for £16-£18

is it bether to use -r then +r on the wii?

most would swear by using -r, however, if you just get some good quality media, it doesn't matter if it's -r or +r - i burn my GC games on +r and my wii games on -r
