According to GoNintendo, Duke Nukem: Critical Mass (DS) is still alive and will be published by Deep Silver next month in Europe; May in the U.S. Not a first-person Duke, but it's probably better than nothin'.

YES! I read about this elsewhere - much better than the Alien Extraction Point Shooter BS. Finally! A new DS game to look forward to (last one for me was Plants vs Zombies)

True - but most of the non-fps Duke games are spin-offs (still great though, Zero Hour was a blast).

There was Duke Nukem Advance too which was pretty good FPS.

This won't be good though and neither will the PSP version.

How are you guys forgetting the game.com version?

On the actual topic, I'll try the game out. There's not much left to expect as far as DS releases go, so it's always nice to hear about something else coming.

This is one of the few remaining games coming down the pipe that I may care about. I mean, a big macho tough-guy character in a game for the DS that isn't a girl, a talking animal, an effeminate anime dude or some other cutesy crap? Sign me up! I'm trying not to care too much though, because that would likely get it canceled permanently. At least, that's how it seems to work out.

I've had that happen with DS games that I was interested in before; Gauntlet, Raid Over the River, Gravity Zero Racing (or Zero-G racing or something like that)....plus a few others I don't even remember anymore. So until the game is actually out, I'm gonna pretend like this doesn't exist.

[IMG] I feel you. The Duke keeps telling us to come get some, but then he disappears before we get there.
