Is there any possible way of running a dual layer game like Brawl or MPT from FAT or NTFS?
So far I've only tried Hemesv4 with IOS 37+38 merged under USB loader GX and it crashes.

I use fat32 with usb loader gx rev 919 and hermes v4 ios 60+38.
I think there are problems with later versions of usb loader gx, 921 is supposed to be ok too.

Ah there's my problem. I'm using GX 929. Time to downgrade it looks like!

Configurable supports both games and has since they were released. However, you need to use the alternative .dol method to play MPT and you will be limited to one save slot and will need to use cheats in order to play it on difficulties other than Veteran.

I don't mind downgrading the version on GX, I prefer it to Configurable USB loader for a number of reasons.
I just wonder, what was the first version which allowed updating wiitdb.zip?

Cfg's wiitdb.zip support came about in v51a, although the implementation changed slightly (to a better naming scheme) in v52.

Sorry I should have clarified, I meant what version of GX did it get introduced. I'd rather not switch to CFG. I think the GX interface is a lot more wii-like and well presented.
