Hacking DSTwo's updated correctly and get white screens when load any roms

I have bought 2 brand new DS Two's and I have successfully updated them to the last in order to use them on 2 3DS XLs.

I can load into the menu on my DS Lite and 3DS XL's and get to the point of selecting a rom but no matter what rom it loads to white screens. I have tried several micro sd's formatted with SDFormatter V2.0 and even HP format tool but still no avail. These micro sd cards work perfectly fine for everything else I use them for including an Acekard 2i.

you using patched roms?

make sure the roms are clean

Not sure just took the ones that all work on my Acekard. How do I make sure a rom is clean?
