Hacking DSTWO crashes on hacked rom of pokemon heart gold

So there's a user on poke community and project pokemon who made a hacked version of heart gold called red heart where you play kanto as red it's basically a remake of fire red, anyways when I go to load it up it just stays at the loading screen on my dstwo but on the desume emulator it loads fine, anyone have an idea why this is happening?

Have you tried other hacked ROMs? Maybe if the other hacked ROMs don't work the microSD card is your problem. Does it say any error? Try formatting it with SDFormatter v4.

Yeah they worked without any problems, just this one it will show the dstwo loading screen and that's all it does, and I know the rom/hack works because I tried it on desume on my pc

Do you have the latest version of EOS?
What kind if error does it show?

Yeah I have the latest im pretty sure, and theres no error just a constant loading screen, ive let it sit before for atleast 15mins

on rom selection highlight the game, press X, change mode to CLEAN
it will show a white screen for about 1 minute, but it will surprisely load.

PS: the hack is even slower than the HG/SS itself, the remakes got slow framerate compared to D\P\PT but this hack woa.. my ds got battery almost full and the light is blinking red and green in some parts, i can feel the console struggling xD

no, i know you will have to do that for make it work. (it's diferent from thinking)
try by yourself. it shows a white screen for 1 minute and then it works
