I have always had problems with not being able to connect to any online homebrew (BEuP, DSAIM, DSO Web Browser, etc.)
I can easily connect to to commercial ds games on my simply (r4) fine, and i have an old ds phat. I use a router and it works fine for all other things I'd like to do. However, when browsing a torrent site recently I stumbled upon a post about configuring your router, and setting a static ip. Recomendations to me on other sites have said to manually input the information, which would mean having a static ip, righ? I was just wondeing if somebody could helpe me throuhg this process.

Go to a PC on the same network and type cmd in run, then ipconfig to get your gateway IP and PC IP. It should be something like 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.1.2.

Go to the setup in a comercial game and enter manually a number but add 1 or 2 to the last digit. For DNS, use ipconfig on your PC too.
