Hi,
I've just replaced the rubber membranes on my console and it stopped booting afterwards.
From another post on here I can assume that it's either the top screen or ribbon cable attached to it that's at fault, (my lower screen flashes before shutting off)
since I've been opening it up, it must surely be that cable.
Now to my question, how can i be sure that the ribbon cable is seated properly?
It's positioned at a rather awkward angle, so I am not confident that it's installed correctly.
Also, how difficult is it to replace said cable?
Thank you for your time
Aaah it boots again, I am so happy!
I had to hold the Dsi while plugging in the display ribbon cable, pushing it further down into the slot with a spudger.
That ribbon cable really is a pain to connect properly...
