    dsbuff - v1 Final
Perform a wide variety of *.nds file tweaks, edits, etc.
WB3000 has updated his NDS ROM editor to v1. While similar to the popular dslazy, it outperforms in several ways. Using the intuitive GUI, you can: Trim, DLDI Patch, (Un)Pack, Swap Arm7.bins, Check for bricking code, Edit the ROM Header (icon, text), and send the edited ROM right to your flashcart.

Just like dslazy, dsbuff is a Windows .NET application.

Wow, this sounds good, you could even make the ultimate Rick Roll with this.

    Thanks [IMG]

I'm continuing work on this, there's still a few things that need to be ironed out. Right now, the icon downloader is retrieving icons from here, although they seem to be rejected by the editor (incorrect color count), and that list only goes up to ~1700.

If anyone knows of a better place to retrieve NDS icons, please do say. [IMG]

Well, here maybe? There is a scene release directory after all.

And isn't there a homebrew for downloading scene releases? They could be obtained there too.
But you'd need permission really, what with bandwidth.

The icons here don't really follow the traditional naming scheme (####), so it comes down to whether I could get the permission too, and whether I could figure out a way to acquire them based on release number.

I've been looking at PocketHeaven too, but they have a form of encoding on their urls, and it's not base64. So the same applies there.

I like the Swiss army knife-style arrangement but I don't get why the labels only show when the cursor hovers over the buttons.

I figured it would be less clutter on the main form. Coincidentally, I had an option to always show button text, but it seemed to be causing a few bugs so I opted to remove it. I can work that option back into the next release though. [IMG]
