haha, you liked the GBA version?
I have always considered making a new GBA+DS version but never really had the time to start...

Allright, I've officially started making DSArms.

I'm currently working on it. I'll tell you more soon!

I'll try to make it very stable, with a good code (good code = stable, no crashes)
It will use GBAtemp's database for NDS and GBA.

Woot, that sounds cool! I still use GBArms 3.2 whenever I want to lookup a GBA game, or want to play some using VBA! I'm really looking forward to DSArms from this very moment!

Hehe really nice. I still think back to the time you (Costello) were developing GBArms from 3.0 to 3.2 and we tried to run the support forum for it.

An 'NDSuperp' (just an idea for a name) would be so great.
AFAIK there currently is NO ROM managing software for NDS ROMs out there (or am I wrong)??

Or does somebody have some kind of 'ROM management solution' for the DS??

Oh, great news.
I was wondering if there's a DS renaming dat with GBAtemp numbering.
That '0463 Max media launcher' is making all the number wrong with nintenren's and pocketheaven's dat.

I tried another dat, but with romcenter we can't personalise renaming formating.

Do you think you could also include the demo and bad dump listed on gbatemp ? (like download station, or passcard, etc.)
So each news from GBAtemp will be reconized.

Thank you.

What do you call rom managing ?
if you are looking only for listing or renaming, there are nintenren, romcenter, ndsrenamer, offline list, more?

Yeah I mean that. Software (tools) for the PC that let you batch rename your ROM collection, keep track of them, soft them and so on.
You should know I was active in this scene during the (I call it) GBA era but the whole NDS stuff is new to me.
So I try to find myself back in.

Names like romcenter and OfflineList still ring a bell.
So all the named programs of you can now also be used with NDS ROMs??

Which of them would you recommend to start with and which of them are compatible with the Pocketheaven release list??
Or to start from scratch: Which DAT list is the best for NDS out there (remember I sand I took a fairly long break from this scene)??

Thanks for your help!!

Pocketheaven and Nintenren shares the same numbering order.
They both differ with GBAtemp from rom 463.

Nintenren is like GBA renamer (complete software with internal updating process)(need some time to have new dat update)
Pocketheaven is only a Dat file to use whith romcenter. (most up do date)

Pocketheaven dat can be found here :
http://releases.pocketheaven.com/?section=dats

I don't like the Advance power dat name formating.

The final word : Let's wait for DSArms

So as far as I got it (up to this point) there are:

Pocketheaven's list with Nintenren software
GBATemp list with no software
Advanscene list with OfflineList software or NDScrc software
NoIntro list with OfflineList software
Advance Power list with either Romcenter or Gamefront software
(maybe some more compatible lists for romcenter and/or gamefront)

That makes 5 different lists and 5 pieces of software...

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
