DS to DS File Transfer App
    [IMG]
Kram has recently developed a DS to DS file transfering application for the DS, DS2DS.
Apparently, you transfer your files on your DS to anothers via Wi-Fi.

hmm this could be useful but most people would just use their computers to do this.

Darn. I thought it was direct DS to DS connection. It's a rare thing in the homebrew world for some reason.

    edit: source??

Yes its a rare thing DS to DS because the RSA protection algorithm has not been broken yet.

Yea I thought it was that too, because I would love to share music with my friends just like the zune. Expect that they can play it more than 3 times...

I don't think ad hoc has RSA lock on it, only the download play.

I remember StarLite (remember? that starcraft clone) developing partial ad hoc game play.

Ad-hoc has been partially figured out, and there is in fact a test application that transfers files from one DS to another. However, packet loss is a major issue, and the current code is expected to be completely broken once the new version of DevKitARM comes out.

If this has a better GUI and have something like 2 options, one for receiving, one for sending, where the receiver choses where to save the file, and the sender just choses the location of the file to send, and using the local wireless rather than wifi can be very excellent...
but the stuff I said above will create a VERY different app than the one currently here.

    it is DS2DS direct connection.

    News/release from Kram
Voilà! I took out my first Homebrew NDS!
This is a small application that allows you to send files of a DS to another WIFI, without intermediaries! (No PC, router ...)
