    Me too...

Seriously, I am not being a smartass, but why they they release a demo after the real game is released?

Is it some kind of trainee program for release groups?

See it as a kind of collection thing. If a ROM of any sort hasn't been released, it MUST be. Kinda like all the cart firmwares (or BIOS, can't remember), even if the latters can be useful for some people.

I see... I think that's what make more sense. It's not very much, in my view, but more sense than others motives that I though. [IMG]

Yes. Oddly enough roms are dumped for reasons other than your own piracy purposes! A-mazing.

If release groups only dumped roms they thought were worthwhile, about 800 dog training and brain training games wouldn't make the release list [IMG]

Well, there are still some people out there who don't want to pirate games but try them, so they can use demos (it's still not legal, but you know what I mean).

The demo Metroid is different. It was released WAY before the actual game, so there was a reason to play it instead of the non-existant full version.

takes me back to the days of atari st demo's where it has like 2 levels and when you get to the end of a side scroller there's a huge wall that's impossible to get over.

Unless there is some slight differences within the demo when compared to the full version - I remember the Monkey Island and Indianna Jones demos (ahh, the SCUMM days [IMG]) were quite different to the full games.

    LOL that's sarcasm, right?
Like... why would anyone who'd own an R4 for example just use it to play DEMOS way after the actual release? Hahahaa
Even on emulators nobody would do that.

Please tell me.. that that was sarcasm : D
