Why a demo when the full version is already out??
Lol, that was just what I was asking myself.
Because it exists.
NOT FOR RESALE
Available to download though!
If it can be dumped, it will be. They don't care if it's useful or not, they just want everything they can get.
I think you can get this one for free on your Wii through the Nintendo Channel
Probably no one was able to get a hold of the demo until now. Come to think of it, I'm surprised someone did manage to get a hold of this. Must work for Target or Gamestop.
wouldn't it be great if the 'demo' had wifi? =/
Heh, that seems to be the case.
Getting these carts aren't easy, I wouldn't think.
Nintendo representatives come in and out the store to pick up these demos and replace them with newer demos every so often...you've gotta have 1337 sources to get a hold of one of these demos (or you can be some random guy who works at GameStop)
They're mainly just for collection purposes, I think.
Yeah, and the dumper confirms that. Sir VG has also redumped many improper GBA roms.
I hope some dumper will be able to obtain DS Download Station 5 some day... I also keep wondering about those European versions of the DS Download Station.
Awesome, always like to see these type of things dumped.
I like demos
Yeah I g uess they would be hard to come by and would be worth quite a lot of money in the future, because its so rare.. But to download and put it on a flashcart.. meh
I actually like these, as it lets my kids try games without illegally copying them (okay, so this is illegal, too, but you know what I mean). I have M3DS Reals for them, but only to back up stuff we have/let them both play a game with their own saves or at the same time/replace cartridges they've lost.
I won't claim to be clean on my OWN cart, but I'd like them to at least start out honest (also, I don't need them telling their friends at school how "my daddy downloads all the games we want, ever"). I do let them try stuff before they buy it, though, with birthday money or whatever, so I can keep them away from shovelware - nice to have real limited demos for that, rather than explaining why I have to take the game away after 15 minutes. Oh, and they love Stafi/Starfy and the Panda game.
Nintendo channel rotates DS games. I frankly don't agree with the logic on that - wouldn't more demos available = more sales of those games?
