A demo? Why is there a demo for a guitar hero game taht means if you were willing to dl the demo you'd need the handstrap...

    I'm guessing for in-store consoles...

The flashcard is not illegal as it only holds teh demo.

Because game devs only distribute their demos on flash carts..

They don't, they have a cart with a demo on it in store, ie the one in the picture.

Always love seeing rare stuff like this dumped, good work jd.

My favourite thing to do with instore DSes is boot them into Download Play mode and have them download the Gauntlet DS demo from my DS which is running DS Download Station 9. I hope that people who missed it have gotten a chance to play it because of me. I know somebody downloaded it from me yesterday; I uploaded it to two instore DSes, but the stat tracker listed three downloads for Gauntlet. Very curious.

Waitaminnit, there was a Gauntlet DS demo?! [IMG] I'm gonna have to grab a cup of coffee and hit up my old pal Google to see what I can find...this is the one game I've been waiting to play for nearly a year since trying it at PAX last year. The original arcade version sucked countless quarters from me and my friends back in '85 ("Elf shot the food!") I'm still hopeful that this'll get released...not holding my breath necessarily but definitely hopeful. Thanks for the heads-up, VR! [IMG]

    Yeah, thanks! [IMG]

I want to celebrate this with the whole GBATemp community, and-

    No, really.
    Question redone:

Any songs exclusively on this demo, and that are not avaiable in the full release?
