This is a hardware dump. You can't use it on a flashcart.

If you're asking if this flashcart works on dsi, then your answer is yes.
Someone should open it and see how and why it's the only flashcart that works on dsi...

Because it's an official nintendo media player, and not a normal flashcart.

Its ninty's way of letting you put media (like DSiWare) on an ordinary DS.
So we don't feel left out.

    Its crap.

Well someone really should analyze it and find a way to use a flashcart on the ds

    "They will"? "They should"?

You mean "I would like someone to", right?

The reason it works on the DSi is that ths DSvision looks and works exactly like a normal DS game. Our current-gen of flashcards are pretty similar to a DS game, but there are some differences with which Nintendo managed to block flashcards on the DSi with.

I wonder how well do the media capabilities of this card compare to that of the DSi.. anyone know of a review somewhere?

since you can't use a hardware dump on you Flashcard
then WHY THE HELL do they dump it in the first place?

someone might manage to dldi hack it, someone might be able to write DSi flashcart firmware using the code from that dump, and someone might want to collect odd dumps such as AR dumps, flashcart dumps, and other unusable dumps.

If this is so ds phat/lite users can use the DSiWare wouldnt you just be able to dump the DSiWare off dsvision and put it on the internet for download and use on other flashcarts?

Like this, this is what my DS Vision Micro SD came preloaded with.

I actually dumped the ROM myself a long while ago, and tried running it on my CycloDS.
All you get is a "microSD not found" error, even if you put the right files onto the flash cart.
This is the exact error I get.

It doesn't seem like the DS Vision card itself stores any necessary files, they're all on the microSD, and the rom is designed for the original card.
If someone hacked the rom, it would probably work on any flash cart, I'd quite like that personally since I actually bought the card.
