yes, but that doesn't mean a prototype isn't still interesting - after all, people are still finding and dumping NES prototypes. this might have stuff in it that was cut out of the final game, or hidden debug modes enabled, or early versions of things that became something else entirely. or other stuff!

or, it might have none of those, and just be an unfinished translation of the american version to the various european languages.

either way, still worth dumping.

Prototype is an early development version like a beta. An incomplete product.

The final USA version has been released, the European final hasn't.

BUMP. Did anybody who played this get any music in-game? I only got sound effects.
Were Tunnels 2 and 3 beatable? It seems, I can't progress past the first wall. Is the final boss beatable?
