I hate how they just add X to something to make it appear to be awesome, that's so 1990's

I'll reserve judgement on this cart until it's actually reviewed but it sounds like an impressive cart.

Not to be a dick or anything, but even Microsoft learned that "X-Treme" was out dated within the first month of their XP Advertising ventures in 2002.

But most of the replies here have already stated this point.

and what's up with this quote from the sales website (in the FAQ at bottom of page):

QUOTE said:
The release date is 2006/08/12 but the item is still with the Pre Order status. Is the item in stock?

Sorry. The item is NOT in stock

and that's from their main distribution website (linked from gbatemp above)

It just seems to me, that if starting a new company, a little bit of market research on product name should have been done. Also some sort of major investment in physical product so they would avoid having "Sorry. The item is NOT in stock" at its launch time.

...unless of course, they knew the product wasn't all that good an only invested the same amount of effort into it, as they expected their "customers" would also invest.

Would be cool if this was a combination 'superkey' so it can run gba roms from the gba cart slot too. As well as nds roms from the nds slot.

Is GBAtemp getting money for every one of these products sold? Seems kinda fishy how they're telling us all this info on the DS-Xtreme, and stuff like "Remember, you saw it first on GBAtemp!" and how this product is getting the spotlight where the DS Link goes unnoticed. It dosen't even have it's own forum....

Like wtf...
