Not much this week, there is The World Ends With You out in NA but I guess we're already playing the Europe release so that doesn't really matter. There is something special for Shadowboy though.

Read to know when a game could be dumped:
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they make dates up for pre-ordering purposes. These dates could also be "shipping dates" which usually means that that's the date when games get shipped to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or after. Some games may get delayed some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it doesn't mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time. I love you with mouth.

Description of what the stamps mean

These are just my opinions, its best to try all the games yourself as some games that I don't like, others do.

Awarded to games that show promise or have had a lot of effort put into them. They may not end up to be that good but at least the developers bothered to put effort into them

Awarded to games that I know will either be bad or are just quickly made games with a lack of style or effort.

The first one bored me but some people liked it I guess. Looks to be the same.

Part of a double-version entry in the Pokemon franchise, made by veteran game designer Chunsoft. Features include Wi-Fi connection and the ability to become one of sixteen Pokemon.

The return of this to a Nintendo handheld, love the GB/GBC ones but I think that this will suck like the Harvest Moon games that Marvelous also develop but then they have done Rune Factory lately either way expect bugs, and not the kind that were meant for the game.

Journey to rivers, swamps, ponds and hidden fishing spots as you look for the mysterious River King to help your younger sister wake from her unexplained slumber. But you are not alone on this adventure, make friends with the magical creatures of Mystic Valley and unlock their special abilities to help you. You are your sister’s last hope and it will take all of your fishing skill to catch the elusive River King.

I prey that it is as awesome as previous games but I dunno its a feeling I get.

Loved the first DS game to bits, Bandai should bring this over here! This time there'll be cowbells to ring, tamboruines to shake and four types of drums to erm drum!

This is one game to try no matter what the langauge is, I fount the first DS title to be played easily without Japanese knowledge. Addictive but I recommend that you use cotton buds instead of the stylus to drum with or you''l end up with a crack like I did. The trailer also looks like theres more to this sequel than new instruments and songs.

SNK Playmore continue to give us these games, I'd prefer King of Fighters but I guess that won't happen. These games were originally on the mobile in Japan.

The characters are from King Of Fighters XI and KOF Maximum Impact 2 and so far confirmed are Mignon Beart, Ninon Beart, Elisabeth Blanctorch, Luise Meyrink, Momoko, Malin, Vanessa, Kaoru Watanabe,Ayame Ichitsuka, Tsugumi Ichitsuka & Alice Garnet Nakata.

Region Japan Genre: RPG/Strategy
Developer: Banpresto Publisher: Bandai Namco

The DS already has the great looking Summon Night : Twin Age (which hits the US 20th May). This title is actually a port/remake of the PSX first title, and not only that but Summon Night 2 is also being ported later this year. Bandai Namco are going a bit Square Enix with this series aren't they? I welcome it as I enjoyed the GBA titles.

The game features the four main characters Hayato, Touya, Natsumi, and Aya. When one of their peers disappears, these high school kids set out on a quest to become heroes. On their quest, the heroes learn to use magic and summon creatures, and face enemies both familar and strange. Battles take place on isometric strategy maps, similar to the Tactics series by Square Enix.

I hope that Twin Age sells well so Atlus would release SN 1&2 over here as we never got the PSX games. If you are interested in this try out very good Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 1 and the even better sequel on the GBA as those two are the only ones that have been translated in English

Region: Europe Genre: Stable tycoon?
Developer: DTP Entertainment Publisher: Eidos

Oh look yet another horsey game, but this one looks kinda different, apparently more of a tycoon game though the video looks like some GBA horse riding game. My Mrs works with horses and when I mentioned this game to her she said "can you get it for me?". I sighed and died a little inside but then she loves tycoon games and likes horses, plus every other horse game she played she declared as "a steaming pile of shit" so its not like she doesn't have gaming taste.

On to the game: Finally the dream of your own estate comes true for the Nintendo DS as well. Get ahead as a stable hand, raise sweet little foals and take excellent care of your guests in My Riding Stables. Give outstanding riding lessons and prepare your horses and students perfectly, so that they will be the riding stars of the future. You prefer taking part in competitions yourself? Go for it and show your amazing talent! Relax while riding through the wonderful country side or while shopping downtown. And when you see your horses frolic out at feed, you can call them with a simple whistle.

Not for me but I hope its good as I'd hate to see people get ripped off.

Sure it looks like a SNES game and its gameplay harks back to that era but this is the sort of retro goodness that I want!

The Japanese version was called Kiki Kai World and was part of the Kiki KaiKai series which most of us English speaking folk know as Pocky & Rocky, an excellently fun series of top down slashing, shooting games.

Sadly reviews of the PS2 version however weren't too postive, I think IGN was the one that rated it the most with 4/10...oh well.

So the Wii has had a number of "lightgun" style shooters, even though playing them with a Wiimote is just not the same. This looks a bit crap to be honest, well not a bit, just absoloutley. Didn't we do away with these digitized sprites in games in the mid 90's? seriously it looks like one of those CDi/3DO games that sold like 3 copies. What the fuck are Konami thinking of with this? I understand that it could be retro but why recreate something that was mostly bad then?

My advice? Avoid like you'd avoid sleeping with someone with syphilis. Why did I write this up? Well just to point out that big companies also do cheap shit, I understand that smaller companies do these but one like Konami doesn't need to, for fuck sake give the Wii gamer some respect!

So yeah Nintendo have already said that it won't keep you fit...so erm its just for fun ok?

Lean to block soccer balls, swivel hips to power hoop twirls or balance to hold the perfect yoga pose. As users stand on the Wii Balance Board, included with Wii Fit, their body’s overall balance is tied to the game in a way they’ve never experienced before. Wii Fit also uses the Wii Balance Board for daily tests. These evaluate two key measures that a household can track via progress charts.

Many UK stores have said that their allocated stock have already sold out, looks like it'll print more monies for Nintendo. Can't say I actually want it but I'll probably end up owning it due to the Mrs.

This game is another movie tie in which just doesn't reinvent it's own genre but still gets the job done while remaining fun

it offers sides crolling gameplay with giving you the freedom to move left and right + up and down in the 3D room (z-axis).
The gameplay is pretty straight forward but still manages to offer various weapon upgrades, combos and unlockable graphics and stuff like that.
The story is ... pirates of the Caribbean duh ' ! Who had guessed it ? Still the story is told kinda ok so you can't blame them for this.

Overall a very fun often overlooked game.

Hehe, next week looks good.
I'll probably pass on the Pokemon game, but the fishing game and that Japanese cat games look interesting

Still got to get The World Ends With You over with before I pick on of those up, though...

Thanks for your fantastic work, Hadrian.

OMG Target: Terror, I played that in an arcade like 2 years ago...it was really bad 2 years ago, I can't imagine it being any better now.
Konami should have made Lethal Enforcers 3 with some new decent graphics and maybe the first 2 games from the series included in the disc.
3DO/CDi graphic's is the perfect definition. Hmmm, I'd also like some Silent Scope action for the Wii, now that would be nice.

Something cool about this pokemon game announced on Nintendo Media Summit last week:

if you're stuck on a dungeon, you can ask a friend to help you and he receives an email telling him to go help you!
