I recommend it, online play completely adds on to the experience. Every WiFi compatible game makes it all the more fun to play since there's always someone to face you. It can get annoying since you only games that lets you talk are Metroid Prime and Pokémon but still. I'll play something with you if you get it. ;D

Well I wouldn't recommend it unless you don't already have wireless network setup in your home/residence.

If you do then why haven't you already started playing online? [IMG]

Well no I mean why would you need the adapter if you could have already started playing online?

Exactly, if you already have wireless then why the hell would you need the adapter?

The DS Wifi usb adapter is not a needed tool to play online. It is for people who do not have a wireless network setup already. Just connect your ds to your wireless network and you should be able to play online.

I bought my Nintendo WiFI USB when it first came out. I moved to buying a Wireless router but I had issues with it, with my My PC not my DS. I was sort of pissed that I wasted money, but then I found out that theres a way of making the Nintendo Wi-FI Usb into a Wireless router too. Not only can your DS connect to it, but PSP, Laptops, and any other thing that needs WiFi. So if you end up buying it, and you need other things to connect to it as well, you should look into it. I'm sorry I don't have any links, but there is a Video once you find it. It helped me fly through the process of setting it up. Till' this day, I have yet to run into any problems.

    Hope this helps.

Yeah, the files you'd need for doing the conversion to a SoftAP are on my Downloads Page, under the 'Essential Utilities' category (nin_wifi_Fullpack_NEW_2933.rar)

You don't need to buy the official one, there are cheaper alternatives.

I've got the WifiMax but it's pretty unreliable and honestly, shit. I heard the Official Nintendo one was of higher quality and more reliable etc?

I heard the official Nintendo one heats up like a mofo, which couple with prolonged use will probably damage it permanently.

I'll be getting an Asus WL-167g if I can find it anywhere in the UK.

It's so gay that Newegg don't ship internationally, stupid bitches.

It's not that bad actually. I myself already said it seemed very hot but i retract my statement. I've been using it non stop and it works just fine, just a little warm. And since i used the adhoc method (when i got a psp) it seems to work better and faster than ever. And the range is a lot better than i thought, at first i was sure if i get out of the room i would loose the signal but i can actually browse the net on my psp upstairs (the dongle is downstairs) and it works.
